Phlebotomist

Immediate need for a talented Phlebotomist . This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Lake Geneva, WI (Onsite) . Pay Rate: $38/hr Key Responsibilities: Shift: Day Scheduled Hours: 40 hours [Hours per Facility] Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages Collect blood, urine, throat swabs, MRSA swabs, blood cultures, finger sticks, heel sticks, and other specimens Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling Process, accession, centrifuge, aliquot, and transport specimens Use Epic and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for order entry and specimen tracking Maintain specimen integrity and follow infection control protocols Communicate STAT and critical results appropriately Perform waived laboratory testing as assigned Assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and documentation Maintain laboratory supplies and support daily lab operations Deliver excellent patient care and customer service Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Phlebotomy experience required Successful completion of a phlebotomy course preferred Less than 1 year of experience accepted State license not required Holiday coverage required Pyramid Consulting, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pyramid Consulting, Inc
