Senior SAP ABAP Developer - SAP S/4HANA | BRIM | FICA | Fiori

Location: United States (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite as per client requirement)

Key Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP developments including WRICEF objects.
• Build scalable solutions using OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData Services, and SAP enhancement frameworks.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, APIs, and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP applications following SAP Clean Core principles.
• Develop migration utilities using IDocs, BAPIs, Migration Cockpit, LSMW, EMIGALL, and BODS.

SAP Fiori & UI5 Development

• Design and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Build end-to-end solutions including SAP Gateway, OData Services, backend ABAP logic, and UI5 front-end development.
• Configure and deploy applications through SAP Fiori Launchpad.
• Develop mobile-enabled applications supporting Zebra handheld scanners and enterprise mobile devices.

SAP BRIM / FICA

• Develop and enhance solutions across SAP BRIM components including:
  • Subscription Order Management (SOM)
  • Convergent Invoicing (CI)
  • Convergent Charging (CC)
  • Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable (FICA)
• Support subscription management, billing, invoicing, collections, dunning, payments, discounts, and revenue recognition.
• Integrate BRIM solutions with CRM, POS, customer portals, and third-party billing systems.

Integration & Technical Architecture

• Design secure integrations using:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • RFCs
  • IDocs
  • JSON/XML
• Implement authentication using OAuth2, SSL Certificates, and Basic Authentication.
• Build SAP integrations with ServiceNow and enterprise middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and Security teams on transport management, performance optimization, and security compliance.

SAP CRM Development

• Enhance SAP CRM Web UI applications.
• Develop customizations using GENIL/BOL and One Order Framework.
• Extend CRM business processes integrated with SAP BRIM and S/4HANA.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with functional teams including FI/CO, MM, BRIM, CRM, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Support SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and production support activities.
• Produce technical documentation including design specifications, testing documents, deployment guides, and impact assessments.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BRIM and/or SAP FICA.
• Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementation or S/4HANA upgrade projects.

• SAP S/4HANA Development Certification
• SAP BRIM Certification
• SAP Fiori Application Developer Certification
• Experience in Retail, Telecommunications, Utilities, or Subscription Billing environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
