CT/X-Ray Technologist

This full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist role in Sedona, AZ involves performing high-quality imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position supports a dynamic healthcare team in a beautiful location, offering opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients during imaging, ensuring safety and well-being throughout.
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper function and troubleshooting issues.
• Assist with patient positioning to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and medical staff to provide the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging data is properly documented.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Certification in CT and X-ray through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Arizona State Radiologic Technologist license
• Strong understanding of imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient care protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing CT and X-ray procedures
