Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and a consistent weekday schedule.

In this role, you will draw on your expertise in school nursing and special education, making a real difference for children with unique needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with experience in school settings preferred
• Background in special education environments is highly advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school community

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, first aid, and health assessments to students
• Develop and implement individualized health plans, including for students in special education
• Serve as a liaison between school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate health records and support reporting requirements
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and disease prevention
• Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team to advocate for student needs
