Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in program planning and contribute to organizing effective clinical services that cater specifically to the needs of high-risk patients.

• Adeptly communicate with physicians and other health care professionals to relay patient progress, needs, and any concerns that may arise during therapy.

• Maintain precise, detailed, and timely documentation of clinical interactions, including progress notes, to adhere to established department policies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary health care team to develop and implement treatment and discharge plans that align with psychosocial assessments.
\n
• Deliver therapeutic counseling and crisis intervention services to patients, effectively assessing and treating emotional and behavioral issues.
\n
• Coordinate with family members and support systems regarding treatment plans and discharge strategies to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on high-risk clients who present with a diverse array of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Our patient population includes individuals experiencing severe mental health issues, co-occurring disorders, and those facing significant life stressors. You will be instrumental in helping patients develop coping strategies and access essential resources, ultimately supporting their journey toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a proven track record of effective client interactions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• Proficient in various computer applications, including word processing, email systems, and electronic medical records, essential for effective client documentation.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate interaction with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Iron Will Mental Health Clinic offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 – $105,000 based on experience and qualifications.
