Sales Development Program

Textron Aviation provides a unique opportunity to recent graduates interested in sales with our Sales Development Program. During the 12-month program, selected applicants rotate through various business and customer service operations within the company, receiving immersive training in technical marketing, negotiating, collaboration and soft skills. JOB SUMMARY:

This positionis an entry-level role that provides the opportunity to participate in the Sales Development Program at Textron Aviation. The Sales Operations Associate (SDP) is a 9-month program that consists of eight functional rotations that focus on the key elements of our business. For the first 6 months, training will take place at our company headquarters in Wichita, Kansas (USA). During the remaining 3 months, the Sales Operations Associate may travel throughout Europe to work with our customers and employees to learn more about the market base. TheSales Operations Associate will gain not only an understanding of the how and why we do business but will gain operational and business experience in areas related to customer facing role: business and sales operations, Cessna and Beechcraft product knowledge, business finance, negotiations, customer marketing and strategy.Upon successful completion of the training program, theSales Operations Associate will have an opportunity to interview for a customer-facing/field-based position in one of the functional areas from the rotation and may be based in Europe .

Assigned to a sales zone throughout the program and will work with that zone to better understand the sales process. Complete applicable training courses, curriculum and other training as assigned Provide requested support to host function leadership during each rotation cycle Learn and effectively utilize available resources (reports; salesforce.com; etc.) in each function as applicable Apply learning to professional scenarios Working with and supporting a team environment
