Do you have a passion for tropical plants?

We are currently seeking a  part-time Master Gardener/Horticultural Specialist  in the Manhattan area to join the Raimondi Horticultural Group Team. You will visit customer locations to care for their interior plants. The job primarily consists of monitoring plants for water, grooming them as needed, and checking in with the client.

Raimondi Horticultural Group provides the equipment required to do the job.  Previous experience is a plus , but if you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and plant care, we will train you.

Qualifications:

· You need a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude

· You must provide exceptional customer service

· You need the ability to follow instructions

· You must use public transportation cost reimbursed by Raimondi

You must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, and write English

· You need to work independently and have strong time management skills

Preferred Skills:  Previous experience working in horticulture, and/or in greenhouses

Physical/environmental elements for this position:  The candidate must have the ability to handle physical workload including bending, squatting, walking (spending all day on their feet), stretching, climbing a ladder, reaching, lifting to 30 lbs.

Salary: Hourly based on experience. You will be reviewed after 3 months, at which time you may receive additional hourly compensation.

·Day shift Monday to Friday
