Corporate staff accountant

We are looking for a sharp, analytical Corporate Staff Accountant who wants their work to mean more than just balancing numbers on a screen. Our client is an industry leader in the high-stakes engineering and manufacturing of specialized, mission-critical electronic technology.

You will have true ownership of a complex, multi-entity general ledger and work cross-functionally with highly sophisticated operations and warehouse teams. Responsibilities

• General Ledger Ownership: Lead multi-entity GL management, ensuring accurate execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.
• Reconciliations & Variance Analysis: Manage complex balance sheet, banking, and subledger reconciliations. Perform budget-to-actual reviews and analyze key operational cost drivers.
• Inventory & Control Compliance: Partner with operations and warehouse teams to maintain inventory asset integrity, monitor product costing data, and validate cycle counts against the GL.
• Audit & Reporting Support: Compile precise, audit-ready financial packages, support internal control schedules, and prepare comprehensive workpapers for external audit review.
