Job Description Job Title: Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated specialist to assist the coordination director/manager in various administrative duties. This role involves documenting employee information, managing insurance and credential authorizations, utilizing EMR systems, and contributing to planning orientations as needed. Responsibilities Document employee information into Excel spreadsheets. Handle prior authorizations for insurances and credentials. Utilize EMR systems effectively. Assist in planning and organizing orientation sessions. Essential Skills Customer service experience Proficiency in EMR systems Strong customer service orientation Team player mentality Ability to multi-task Experience with EPIC Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus Work Environment This position offers a hybrid schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-site presence is required 1 to 2 times every other week, as well as for staff meetings when necessary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
