Description

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will assess, monitor, and treat patients requiring intermediate-level care, administer medications, titrate drips, interpret telemetry strips, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable managing frequent admissions and discharges.

Requirements

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU experience
• Current BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently
• Experience titrating cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Nitroglycerin
• Willingness to float to ICU when appropriate
• Driver's License required at the time of submission
• Must reside outside the 50-mile radius requirement
• Artificial nails are not permitted while providing patient care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
