Description: Level IV brand new Women & Infants Client. Seeking a level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse. The unit includes a 15 bed Labor & Delivery, 20 bed High Risk Unit, and 8 bed OB Triage. Must be familiar with Magnesium and insulin drips. Advanced NRP certification is required, along with advanced external fetal monitoring skills. There may be a possibility to float to another Labor & Delivery unit if needed. The unit adheres to guidelines, ensuring 1:1 nursing care during active labor and two patients are assigned during early and latent labor. The role involves serving as a charge nurse in both Labor & Delivery and the high-risk unit, as well as a baby nurse during deliveries. The schedule includes 36 hours per week, every third weekend, with a holiday rotation. Candidates must be committed to working, as there is no tolerance for calling in.
