Social Work Supervisor III – After-Hours
The Social Work Supervisor III – After-Hours supervises a team of social workers who provide emergency response coverage for both Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services reports alleging abuse, neglect, dependency, and exploitation outside of normal business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The team consists of designated social workers assigned specifically to after-hours and on-call duties. The primary goal of this program area is to ensure that reports received outside of standard operating hours are appropriately screened, assessed for safety, and responded to when required timeframes and safety concerns necessitate immediate intervention. This position provides supervisory oversight of emergency decision-making and ensures continuity of care between daytime and after-hours operations, including the timely transition of active cases to appropriate daytime program areas. The Social Work Supervisor III - After-Hours functions as an integral part of a supervisory team, ensuring continuity of care through 24/7 emergency response and after-hours service coverage.
Work Schedule: Five evenings per week beginning at 3:30 PM
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of directly related experience; or
- Master's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of directly related experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of directly related experience; or
- Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of directly related experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Physical Requirements
Must be physically able to operate a variety of office equipment. Must be able to exert a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
