Sales Representative I, Spine - Washington DC
Medtronic Inc
Medtronic seeks a Sales Representative I for spine products in the Washington DC region. This field-based role involves managing territory accounts, maintaining consignment inventory, and driving sales of spinal implants and related technologies while supporting surgical teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage consignment and loaner inventory to minimize non-usage and flight usage
- Provide territory case coverage and manage assigned accounts
- Solicit orders from existing and prospective customers for spine products
- Identify new customer opportunities and formulate sales plans with senior representatives
- Prepare call reports and maintain customer records per district manager instructions
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 4+ years relevant sales or medical device experience
- Or associate's degree plus 2+ years relevant experience in medtech or healthcare
- Or bachelor's degree in any field
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Orthopaedic, spine, or operating room experience strongly preferred
