Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is available in a healthcare organization in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves working in a pediatric respiratory care unit with a focus on providing specialized respiratory treatments and procedures to patients of all ages. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-quality, compassionate care environment with a dedicated team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certificate or license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT); 2 or more years of hospital experience; ICU or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience; Emergency Department (ED) experience; ability to draw Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hospital experience for at least 2 years, with a preference for candidates with NICU and ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Servo I ventilator; experience with I-Stat; patient care experience across all age ranges; good customer service skills.
• Additional Information:
  • Documentation system used is Meditech.
  • Procedures performed include ABGs, intubation assistance, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, and Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB).
  • Dress code requires black scrubs; no artificial nails, neat hair, and body art should be covered.
  • Unit policies include no floating requirements and adherence to attendance policies.
