Set goals, coach, and hold team members accountable for results, and work with purchasing and product management to keep the right products in stock at the right price.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of sales experience in a related industry2+ years supervising or leading a sales, retail, or customer service teamJob RequirementsProven ability to lead teams and achieve results through othersDemonstrated success as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targetsAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities while using time and resources effectivelyExceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focusProficient with email, internet applications, MS Office, CRM systems, and related toolsStrong business acumen and industry knowledgeHighly self-motivated with the ability to set goals for the team and follow through on resultsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage retail Store Managers, including setting goals and objectives, monitoring performance versus budget, and reviewing results with direct reports at least monthlyManage inside sales and customer service representatives, including setting and tracking sales targets, overseeing customer service activities, and recommending improvements to sales administration processesWork with the Supply Chain and Product Managers on inventory levels, core products, stocking, and direct-ship items to support sales while meeting inventory turn goalsIdentify training needs for Regional Sales Managers, inside sales, and retail personnel, and coordinate with Marketing on promotions, trade shows, and vendor programsMaintain strong relationships with core product suppliers and attend key vendor sales meetings as neededPhysical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, use hands to operate a computer and office equipment, and communicate effectively via phone and email.
