Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Environmental Associate to join its practice group in Boston, MA. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy. Draft well-written legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence. Requirements Strong background in environmental law related to corporate, finance, and real estate transactions. Experience advising on environmental matters in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Familiarity with federal and state environmental statutes and regulations. Experience with environmental disclosure obligations in SEC filings. Ability to support brownfield redevelopment and environmental risk management. Experience coordinating with EPA and state environmental agencies is a plus. Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and sound business judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently on sophisticated matters. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
