Associate needed for Miami office

Job Overview A prominent law firm is seeking highly qualified law school graduates and judicial clerks for associate positions across multiple U.S. offices. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial litigation. Candidates should be adept in discovery management, depositions, drafting pleadings, and document review. In‑court experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates will join a dynamic litigation practice offering ample opportunities for growth. Location Miami, FL Duties Manage and oversee discovery processes, including document review. Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation cases. Draft key litigation documents such as pleadings, motions, and other court filings. Assist in trial preparation, including developing case strategies. Participate in hearings, case management conferences, and motion practice. Provide support in all stages of the litigation process, from pre-trial to post-trial. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and trial presentations. Requirements Experience in commercial litigation, with expertise in discovery, depositions, and document management. In‑court experience is preferred, but not required. Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office or eligibility to promptly obtain admission. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the jurisdiction of interest or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication. Strong litigation research and analytical skills. Proficient in managing discovery and conducting document review. Experience drafting pleadings and other litigation‑related documents.
