Join the LDRP (Family Care) Unit at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, where compassionate, family-centered care is at the heart of every birth experience. Our team supports patients through every stage, from labor and delivery to recovery and postpartum, ensuring a safe, personalized, and memorable journey for growing families. With a collaborative care model and a commitment to clinical excellence, you'll play a vital role in delivering remarkable care to both mother and baby.

Schedule: 7 pm - 7 am, Night Shift, PRN

Department: Family Care Unit (LDRP)

Location: Brunswick Medical Center

Skills: Seeking Labor and Delivery experience

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum for both mother and newborn
Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
Collaborate with OB providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing and postpartum experience
Advocate for individualized, patient-centered birth plans while ensuring evidence-based care

What We're Looking For

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
