We are seeking a licensed Optometrist to join an established retail-based optometry practice located within a major membership retail store in Lancaster, PA.

This is a clinical optometry position focused on patient care not sales. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and educate patients on their overall eye health.

The position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist seeking a strong work-life balance while maintaining a full-time clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Conduct refractions and evaluate overall ocular health
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions and diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses as appropriate
• Identify ocular conditions requiring additional evaluation or specialty care
• Provide patient education regarding eye health and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Deliver professional, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with optical staff to provide a seamless patient experience
• Follow all applicable state regulations and professional standards

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted Optometry license
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to high-quality patient care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
• Retail optometry experience is a plus, but not required
