This role is eligible for a $5000 sign-on bonus subject to the terms and conditions of the Companys sign-on bonus program.

Position Summary: Seeking a skilled Sr. CAD Technician with experience in 3D modeling software to support the design and development of municipal infrastructure this role you will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to produce precise detailed drawings and 3D models of water/wastewater systems site utilities structural layouts and related facilities. Your work will help ensure accurate efficient and timely project delivery.

Your Responsibilities as a Sr. CAD/GIS Technician:

• Drafting & Modeling: Create update and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar design software.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards municipal specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files revise drawings as needed and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection field measurements and design modifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new drafting technologies software updates and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

What were looking for:

• Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar 3D modeling and drafting software.
• 5 years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g. water/wastewater site utilities structural layouts) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality accurate drawings.
• Excellent organizational communication and time-management skills.
• Associates degree (A.S.) in Drafting Engineering Technology or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
