Manager of Annual Giving - Digital Giving

Reports To: Assistant Vice President of Annual and Digital Giving FLSA Status: Exempt (Salary) Travel Required: Yes Hybrid: Yes Position Summary Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Annual and Digital Giving, the Manager of Annual Giving - Digital Giving leads the execution of GBFB's digital fundraising channels, with a primary focus on peer-to-peer fundraising, email, social media, and paid digital campaigns. This role works closely with the Manager of Annual Giving - Direct Response and Director of Annual & Digital Giving Operations to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue in support of GBFB's mission to end hunger. Work Location Hybrid: This role follows a hybrid schedule working in accordance with GBFB's hybrid work policy on the team's designated days. - Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Events, Corporate & Foundation Relations and Advancement Operations and Systems teams to integrate P2P fundraising into broader organizational campaigns and events.
- Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience across digital platforms.
- Monitor performance and analyze results to drive continuous improvement in participation, engagement, and revenue
- Respond to and manage donor phone and email inquiries, providing support and guidance related to P2P fundraising pages and donor experience.
- Execute fundraising email communication strategies in partnership with the Director of Annual & Digital Giving Operations.
- Build, segment, code, and deploy emails to support digital giving campaigns and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with External Affairs and other internal teams to source and develop compelling email content.
- Track and report on email performance metrics to optimize engagement and fundraising outcomes.
- Along with the Manager of Annual Giving - Direct Response, manage a fundraising communications calendar.
- Support and execute digital giving strategies across organic and paid social media channels to increase awareness, engagement, and donations.
- Plan, write, and adapt fundraising-focused social content in collaboration with External Affairs team members.
- Partner with the Director of Annual & Digital Giving Operations and agency partners on paid social campaigns to drive revenue.
- Monitor social performance and share insights to improve fundraising and engagement results.
- Support the development and execution of paid digital fundraising campaigns, including paid social, search (SEM), display, and other digital advertising efforts.
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are aligned with fundraising goals and messaging.
- Work with Advancement Operations and Systems and GBFB's direct response contractor to track performance and assist with reporting and optimization of paid digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with the External Affairs team to ensure website content, landing pages, and donation pages support digital giving goals.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, digital marketing, or related field.
- 5-7 years' experience in digital marketing or fundraising and proven success developing and executing successful digital strategies through website, email, and social media.
- Advanced HTML, Google Analytics, email marketing software and website content management systems are required.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Office 365 suite is required.
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot and GoFundMePro is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to influence without direct oversight or management.
- Ability to set clear objectives and manage multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to manage complex projects and programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content writing, brand voice, and digital fundraising best practices. Ability to build and foster relationships across business functions.
- Genuine appreciation of GBFB's mission and the ability to communicate it.
- Demonstrates the required digital competencies that result in the effective usage of the full range of digital technologies at GBFB.
