Health Insurance payers; including denials, adjustments, and complete documentation for accounts with end result of accurate reimbursement and patient account resolution. Certified coder or practical coding experience./ph3Work Experience/h3pRequired/ppAt least six months experience working in a clerical role in a healthcare setting. May consider strong candidate with a demonstrated successful internship or relevant course of study in place of six months experience. Given training and on the job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the position within three months of employment date./ppPreferred/ppExperience in a healthcare business office setting with knowledge of government and other health insurance payer requirements and reimbursement. Knowledge of billing compliance and basic coding.
