Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | 37.5 Hours Per Week

We are seeking an experienced Attorney for a hybrid contract position in Nashville, Tennessee, supporting healthcare regulatory and administrative law matters involving the regulation of healthcare professionals throughout Tennessee s rural counties. This role focuses primarily on disciplinary matters involving healthcare licensees, including investigation review, settlement negotiations, administrative litigation, and proceedings before healthcare licensing boards.

The attorney will work closely with investigators, licensing board consultants, and legal leadership while managing a substantial caseload at various stages of litigation. Additional assignments may include legislative projects and bill analysis related to rural healthcare delivery.

• Represent the organization in administrative law proceedings involving healthcare professionals and licensing boards.

• Review complaints and investigations involving healthcare licensees and provide legal guidance to investigators and licensing board consultants.

• Manage disciplinary litigation from case evaluation through discovery, motion practice, negotiation, hearings, and trial.

• Maintain and prioritize a substantial caseload involving matters at multiple stages of investigation and litigation.

• Support legislative and special projects as assigned, including legal research and bill analysis related to rural healthcare.

• Juris Doctor (JD) Degree Required.

• Active Tennessee Bar Admission With License in Good Standing Required.

• Litigation Experience, Including Trial Experience, Required; At Least 1 Year of Relevant Legal Experience Preferred.

• Strong Written and Verbal Communication, Case Management, Analytical, and Collaborative Skills Required.

• Professional Liability Insurance Required Prior to Start; Writing Sample of No More Than 10 Pages and Tennessee Bar License Number Required With Application.
