Associate Attorney

Associate attorney position available in a medium-sized active litigation practice located in Bend, Oregon. Primary areas of practice are family law and criminal defense. Candidates must be comfortable with regular appearances in court and can work in a team-based environment. Competitive salary and benefits with opportunities for advancement and growth.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Maintain client communication and provide updates on case progress
- Attend meetings and consultations with clients

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in negotiation and litigation is preferred
