Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing environment regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability while experiencing a new location. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Experience providing ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning preferred. Client requires availability Monday through Friday schedule; clinician should be prepared to work within facility scheduling and team coordination requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with documentation systems commonly used in long-term care and skilled nursing preferred. Certified in modalities or specialty training (e.g., dementia care, fall prevention) preferred. Assignment Details Shift Hours: 0800-1630. Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Guaranteed weekly hours: 35. Contract type: Travel contract; clinician may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
