Logistics Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute logistics strategies supporting domestic and international transportation operations. Direct inbound and outbound freight activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective product movement. Oversee global trade compliance, customs requirements, import/export documentation, and regulatory adherence. Build and maintain strong partnerships with transportation providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners. Manage transportation budgets, analyze freight expenditures, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency. Establish and monitor logistics performance metrics, including delivery performance, transportation costs, carrier effectiveness, and service quality. Proactively resolve transportation challenges, supply chain disruptions, customs issues, and other critical shipping concerns. Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Inventory Management, Sales, and Customer Service to align logistics strategies with business goals. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing risk, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing logistics team while fostering accountability and professional growth. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered. Ten or more years of progressive logistics and transportation leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise in international logistics, global transportation, customs regulations, and trade compliance. Experience utilizing ERP platforms along with transportation, warehouse, and inventory management systems. Strong analytical, financial, and operational decision-making capabilities. Proven ability to negotiate with carriers and logistics partners while managing vendor relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of building and developing successful teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
