Position: NOC Engineer

Shift: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm; plus on-call rotation

AVAJEN is seeking a self-starter to join our team as a NOC Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support   role and a commitment to exceptional service. Primary responsibilities include providing technical support, troubleshooting, and remote monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
• Document and track all customer support requests and technical issues in our ticketing system
• Work with clients in their offices, remotely, and from the AVAJEN office *May have to drive to multiple locations within a day*
• Upgrade RAM and hard drives
• Build PCs
• Deliver and install hardware
• Setup workstations and accounts for our clients when they have new hires
• Log 30hrs of billable time per week
• Manage your queue of rolling support tickets
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems
• Follow established procedures for logging and tracking customer support requests

Technical Requirements:

• At least one year of aligned experience
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory
• Basic knowledge SharePoint/OneDrive
• Experience with Mimecast
• Experience with Microsoft Troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently, research, and test new solutions prior to escalating
• CompTIA A+ Certificate (or equivalent)
