Job Description SummaryThe Project Manager - Chemistry Services has responsibility and authority for assigned projects, including inquiry-to-order (ITO) development, and order-to-remittance (OTR) fulfillment, safety, quality, engineering, hardware and tooling development, , production, and schedule conformance.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesReports to the Product Line Leader, Chemistry Services responsible for fleet wide modifications of the respective system (Hydrogen Water Chemistry, OLNC, Zinc )Support Oversight and management of project engineering, procurement, QC, financials (especially cost forecasting and control), staffing, and training / qualifications prior to site implementationSupport appropriate relations and interact effectively with multiple levels of the customer organization on commercial, technical, and compliance issuesSupport project planning, risk forecasting, conflict resolution, and project team managementProvides work coordination and supervision to GVH and contingent workers performing engineering and other functional activities necessary for project deliveryParticipation in key design reviews, tooling and hardware shakedown, training, and qualifications primarily measured on project success as measured by the following:Setting a tone within the business of integrity, compliance, safety, and continuous improvementCustomer satisfaction in key business defined areasMeeting or exceeding project financial targetsField execution and leadershipRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industryOR a high school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industry.Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Industry work experienceMinimum of 1 years of experience in Project ManagementMinimum of 1 years of experience in engineering problem solving and facilitating resolution between diverse groups and interestsMinimum of 1 years of experience with proposals, pricing and billing practicesEligibility Requirements:Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time as dictated by business needAbility to obtain unescorted access to Nuclear Plants.Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to climb and descend 10 flights of stairs twice per dayAbility to climb laddersAbility to pass respirator fit test and physicalAbility to pass Fitness For Duty requirementsDesired CharacteristicsProven ability to manage complex projectsBWR vessel internal hardware knowledge / experienceKnowledge of nuclear industry safety culture, products, and servicesExperience with contracting issues associated with technical projectsExperience working with nuclear plant outages/services and with customersOpen communication style and ability to develop team relationships, including vendors and global teamsDemonstrated ability to effectively interface with customers and technical support teamsStrong grasp of reactor water chemistry, design process, balanced with understanding of complexities of field deliveryFlexible to changing environment and work relationshipsAbility to rapidly identify problems and contribute to prompt resolutionProficient in the use of Excel, Word, OutlookUse of GVH ITO/OTR systems (i.e. Primavera (P6), PLM, Oracle, iProGEct, Tableau, SharePoint)Technical writing backgroundThis PM (Project Manager) is a home office position in Wilmington, NC and will travel as necessary to support customer discussions, technical scope definition, vendor oversight, and training.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
