Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights (Plano, Texas). The organization is seeking a travel RN to provide care in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). Responsibilities include delivering critical care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 7:00PM7:00AM; 36 hours per week; every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 2+ years of hospital experience; 2+ years of specialty experience (Intensive Care Unit); ability to work as an Intensive Care Unit nurse in accordance with unit requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); CCRN certification; TCRN certification.
• Float: Float: As needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratio: 2:1.
  • Procedures performed on the unit include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomy care (bedside trachs), and chest tube insertions.
