R10096095 Branch Manager (Open) Location: Findlay, OH – Retail shop Position Overview Lead daily store operations to drive sales and margin goals, provide outstanding customer service, manage inventory and financial processes, and maintain a safe, compliant and efficient retail environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. Promote sales, deliver excellent customer service, nurture inventory levels, and balance expenses through purchase support. Ensure facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, empowering team members to provide efficient service and maintain good housekeeping. Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers, handling product, pricing, and technical inquiries. Support the outside sales team by nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities. Ensure accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits. Maintain the accuracy of back‑order, open‑order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports. Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch. Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety to ensure all associates can perform essential branch functions. Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates. Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven managerial experience in a customer‑facing environment, with demonstrated expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and the strategic use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance. Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with material handling equipment. Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools. Ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently. Self‑motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team’s success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management. Ability to operate in a drug‑free workplace. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor degree in a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales with a track record of meaningful contributions and experience in the welding industry. Experience with inventory cultivation and vendor relationship support. Computer experience or basic knowledge of SAP.
