Health Center Relations Specialist - Olive (8065)

Position Summary Terros Health is hiring a Health Center Relations Specialist to work at the Olive Ave Health Center in Phoenix, AZ (6151 W Olive Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302). The role is full‑time, day shift, and involves front‑office interactions with patients and staff. Responsibilities Greet patients professionally and courteously. Check patients in and notify appropriate staff. Complete four‑point check‑in workflow and update patient information. Review and update daily schedules, ensuring data accuracy. Collect and maintain patient demographics in compliance with UDS guidelines. Demonstrate basic knowledge of insurance types (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial). Schedule Monday to Thursday: 11:00am – 8:00pm (closing shift once per week). Saturday: 7:30am – 5:00pm (rotating schedule). Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in healthcare, insurance billing/coding, psychology, social work, human services, or communications preferred. Minimum one year of front‑office, customer‑facing experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental, or medical office settings. Experience in hospitality (e.g., meetings, conventions, hotels) or banking is also considered. Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health record systems; NextGen experience preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web‑based programs. Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Track record of high‑level customer service in a healthcare environment. Must pass TB test, criminal background check, and drug test. Non‑driving position; no travel required. Spanish speaking preferred.
