About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute hospital setting License: Client RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required; ERM certification preferred Must-Have: Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) and Newborn Nursery Description: We are looking for Registered Nurses with experience in Labor and Delivery. The Registered Nurses will provide comprehensive care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care phases. They are expected to work independently in triage, labor, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum, and newborn care. They will assist in C-section cases, both circulating and scrubbing. Experience in using EPIC charting system is required. Candidates should have experience in low-risk and high-risk maternal care. Rotating weekend coverage is required. On-call duties will also be expected. Candidates must float within their skillset as needed. Experience in patient assessments, pain management, and administering medications is essential. The role includes the management of various obstetrical emergencies and the use of specialized equipment. Patience and strong communication skills are necessary to provide quality care in this dynamic environment. Travel experience is welcomed.
