As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Doral, FL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $21.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
