Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehabilitation

Our client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Rehabilitation department at St. Catherine Hospital. This unit specializes in caring for post-stroke and severely debilitated patients, focusing on rehabilitation to help them return home safely.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: One year of RN experience; nursing skills and knowledge specific to specialty.
• Licenses/Certifications: RN License required; current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Weekly Schedule: 7am-7pm
• Shift: Day

Compensation:

• $30.58 - $42.99/hour
