Travel RN Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960–$2,070 Job Type: Travel nursing contract Location: Spokane, Washington Start Date: November 2, 2026 Contract Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend Call: Not required Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5 Documentation: Epic electronic medical record Orientation: Approximately 36 hours Floating: May float between units or nearby affiliated facilities to meet patient-care needs Telemetry RN and Neuro Nursing Requirements Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Washington; compact license must be in hand when applicable At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience Previous experience caring for neurological or post-surgical patients is welcomed; candidates without neuro experience should be comfortable learning in a high-acuity neuroscience environment Epic charting experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Experience with telemetry, neuro stepdown care, pre- and post-neurosurgical care, stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and procedural sedation monitoring Comfort managing BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and complex neurological conditions Willingness to work required weekends and applicable holiday shifts Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years Neuro/Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with neurological, neurosurgical, and telemetry diagnoses Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions Perform comprehensive assessments and accurately document care in Epic Care for post-surgical neurology patients, including those recovering from craniotomy and other neurosurgical procedures Support patients experiencing stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, seizures, and other complex neurological conditions Administer medications and therapies while monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions Manage chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, procedural sedation monitoring, and other specialized patient-care needs within scope Collaborate with providers, rehabilitation professionals, interpretation services, and the interdisciplinary care team Recognize and respond to changes in neurological status using the NIH Stroke Scale and established clinical protocols Float as needed while maintaining high standards of patient safety, teamwork, and compassionate care Why You’ll Love This Spokane Travel Nursing Opportunity Work with a diverse neuroscience and telemetry patient population in a teaching-hospital environment Gain experience supporting stroke, epilepsy, spine, and neurosurgical services Join a team with access to interdisciplinary support and interpretation services Enjoy the natural beauty and four-season lifestyle of Spokane, with convenient access to parks, trails, rivers, and outdoor activities Apply now for this Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse opportunity in Spokane, Washington, and advance your nursing career in a high-acuity neuro/telemetry setting.
