IBM Maximo Lead

IBM Maximo Lead Duration: 12+ Months Location: Sacramento, California Work Arrangement: Onsite Visa: All Visa Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM Maximo Lead to support the configuration, development, integration, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Maximo environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS), along with strong experience collaborating with IT operations, customer service, GIS, data management, and other cross-functional teams. Configuration and Customization Configure and customize IBM Maximo modules to meet business requirements. Configure workflows, screens, applications, security, escalations, and other supported Maximo capabilities. Perform application configuration using Application Designer and Database Configuration. Development Develop and maintain Maximo applications using Automation Scripts, scripting, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and other Maximo development technologies. Develop automation and custom functionality using Python, Jython, and JavaScript. Configure and maintain TRM RulesManager using Java/JavaScript. Integrations Design, configure, develop, and support integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF). Work with Object Structures, Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, REST APIs, integration endpoints, and inbound/outbound message processing. Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable data exchange between Maximo and external systems. Patching and Upgrades Participate in Maximo patching, upgrades, and system enhancement initiatives. Plan and execute upgrades while minimizing operational disruption. Assess system changes and ensure compatibility with existing configurations, customizations, and integrations. System Support and Troubleshooting Provide technical support for Maximo users and support teams. Diagnose and resolve application, configuration, integration, and data-related issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. Data Management Manage and maintain Maximo data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Perform data migrations, conversions, cleansing, and integrations as required. Develop SQL queries for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting. Licensing and MAS Administration Support the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) license lifecycle. Track licensing requirements, renewals, and related administrative activities. Help ensure continued availability of required Maximo/MAS capabilities. Reporting and Analysis Develop and maintain Maximo reports and ad hoc queries. Use Maximo reporting capabilities and SQL to support operational and management reporting. Analyze system and business data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Documentation Create and maintain technical documentation covering system configuration, integrations, customizations, procedures, and troubleshooting. Develop user guides and technical support documentation as required. Collaboration Work closely with business users, IT operations, customer service, GIS, data management, and other technical teams. Gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Maximo solutions. Provide technical guidance and recommendations on Maximo architecture, configuration, and best practices. Leadership and Mentoring Lead and mentor IT staff responsible for Maximo and MAS support. Provide knowledge transfer and technical training covering system maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration, and user assistance. Serve as a technical point of contact for Maximo-related initiatives. Best Practices Follow IBM Maximo and MAS best practices, standards, and supported configuration methodologies. Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, usability, performance, and maintainability. Travel Ability to travel between office locations as needed. Required Skills and Experience Proven experience as an IBM Maximo Consultant, Developer, Lead, or Technical Specialist . Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) . Strong knowledge of Maximo modules, including: Work Management Asset Management Inventory Management Procurement Strong knowledge of Transportation and Utilities industry solutions and the Maximo Spatial add-on . Proficiency in Maximo configuration and customization, including: Application Designer Database Configuration Workflow Escalations Security Application configuration Other supported configuration capabilities Experience with Maximo Automation Scripts , including Python, Jython, and JavaScript. Experience with TRM RulesManager , including Java and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies, including Oracle and SQL Server . Hands‑on experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) . Experience with: Object Structures Enterprise Services Publish Channels REST APIs Integration Endpoints Inbound and outbound message processing Experience with Maximo upgrades, patching, and system enhancements . Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams. Strong experience with technical documentation and knowledge transfer. Preferred Skills Experience supporting public utilities or utility‑related environments. Experience with Maximo Mobile applications. Experience with Maximo Application Framework (MAF) . IBM Maximo certifications. Experience with IBM FileNet .
