Mammographer | Hartford, Connecticut

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional experienced in imaging, specifically mammography, to provide essential services at a busy diagnostic center. The successful candidate will utilize Hologic equipment and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment, providing crucial diagnostic mammography to support patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Option to work four 10-hour shifts if preferred
- ARRT (Mammography) certification required
- 1-2+ years of experience as a mammography technologist (extensive experience highly valued)
- Proficient in the operation of Hologic mammography equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centric approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a diagnostic mammography-only setting
- No biopsy experience required
- Perform high-quality diagnostic mammograms using Hologic equipment
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the imaging process
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and fellow imaging staff to deliver excellent patient care
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment issues, escalating as necessary
