Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a premier healthcare facility near Gamerco, NM!

Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU:

• Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care, focusing on patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Full-time, direct-hire position within the PACU department.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with no on-call duties.
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess for any complications after surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure smooth patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on post-op recovery and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation, adhering to hospital protocols.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU:

• Active RN licensure in New Mexico required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• ACLS and CPR certifications are required.
• PALS and NRP certifications are preferred.
• Experience in PACU, critical care, or surgical settings is a plus.
