Emergency Department Technician (Part-time)

Job Overview In Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, we are hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for first days shift. This is a part‑time position with a weekly schedule of 24 hours. Responsibilities Perform lab draws and EKGs. Assist nurses and doctors in patient care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire. Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School and qualification as MMAC candidate. Current student enrolled in a clinical program (RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester. Benefits Medical, dental, vision plans.
