Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Labor, Employment, and Higher Education Counsel for its Minneapolis, MN office. The role involves advising business clients on employment matters and representing them in litigation. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in employment law, both in advisory and litigation capacities. Duties Provide legal advice on employment matters to business clients. Represent clients in employment litigation. Conduct legal research and draft briefs. Prepare pleadings and manage depositions. Participate in court hearings and draft policies. Investigate complaints and advise clients accordingly. Requirements 8-10 years of experience in employment law. Active Minnesota law license in good standing. Strong academic credentials. Exceptional analytical and writing abilities. Excellent client service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively. Desire to appear in court with confident oral communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Minnesota. Skills Strong analytical and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
