Job Responsibilities Perform technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout Make and check engineering computations Inspect construction work Conduct field tests Assist the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties Work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator Be directly responsible for inspection requirements related to assigned construction operations Requirements High School Diploma Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I CTQP Pile Driving Inspection CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection required for inspection of all drilled shafts, including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I CTQP Final Estimates Level I FDOT Intermediate MOT Nuclear Radiation Safety Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors Qualifications/certifications may be obtained within six months from the date of hire This position is not eligible for sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in field surveying and construction layout, with a strong focus on inspection requirements and engineering computations.
