This isn’t your typical AP role – you’ll be managing high-volume payment operations while also diving into inventory reconciliation for a critical business division. It’s fast-paced, highly visible, and perfect for someone who wants variety in their day-to-day.Why This Role Is DifferentDual focus: Master both accounts payable and inventory accounting functionsHigh impact: Your work directly supports operations for a key divisionHybrid potential: Earn work-from-home flexibility after your training periodCollaborative culture: Join a supportive Corporate Accounting team that values your contributionsStability + growth: Established company with upward momentumWhat You’ll Be DoingThis role combines the precision of AP with the analytical challenge of inventory management – keeping you engaged and building diverse skills.Accounts Payable Management:Process up to 200 vendor invoices daily with accuracy and efficiencyManage specialized payment processing for oil-related vendors while maintaining strict policy complianceInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies before they escalateInventory & Reconciliation:Reconcile monthly physical liquid inventory statements against the company’s inventory management systemPerform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end close activitiesTrack down and resolve inventory account discrepancies with a detective’s eye for detailCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with internal teams and external vendors to identify process improvementsContribute ideas for streamlining operations and increasing efficiencyWhat We’re Looking ForRequired:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong organizational abilities with proven multitasking skillsMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracyERP system experience (any platform)Solid Excel proficiency – pivot tables and VLOOKUP skills highly preferredProfessional communication style for vendor and team interactionsPreferred:2+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experienceExperience with inventory reconciliation or cost accounting
