Join a Los Angeles, CA outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and direct discipline-specific therapy services to support patients returning to community activities. Ensure documentation is accurate and timely, complete letters of medical necessity and charge entry, and provide patient, family, student and coworker education. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice act and organizational policies. Demonstrate safety awareness and follow safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices. Participate in performance improvement activities and in student education when assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Ability to supervise and delegate therapy services and to participate in student clinical education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience.
• Experience with functional treatment programs focused on community reintegration.
• Additional specialty certifications relevant to outpatient practice.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
