What You’ll Do Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Production Worker is accountable for continuous product throughput, will inform management of the results from the production unit’s operations, pointing out problem areas and advising on the best solutions. Work closely with other operators in production unit Perform various packaging, cleaning, sampling, and material transfer tasks Strive for zero defect and optimum unit throughput Coordinate with Supervisor to meet departmental budget What You’ll Need Have a strong commitment to safety Be able to communicate well with other members of the team Be able to work in a plant environment and be able to walk up and down stairs and ladders Have the ability to troubleshoot Be well organized, detail oriented, and have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Compensation Position will be hourly at current union contractual rate World‑class medical insurance Benefits currently include: Dental, vision, 401(k), company paid life/AD&D insurance, flex spending, short‑term disability, paid holidays, and vacation time Safety shoes and safety glasses reimbursement The job responsibilities described above indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
