Embedded System Engineer

Job TitleThe PositionDuties & ResponsibilitiesWork with multidisciplinary team to design, test, and integrate electronics, firmware, and software for various additive manufacturing, autonomous systems, and sensor projectsAid senior engineers with day to day oversight of activities, including providing guidance to a team of engineering technicians.Aid senior engineers in developing engineering documentation, such as test procedures, for various activities.QualificationsBasicExperience with programming embedded systems microcontroller and FPGA (Texas Instruments, Arduino, Microchip, Xilinx) software developmentExperience with integrating sensors (i.e. accelerometers, gyros, thermocouples, encoders)Experience in developing software in C, C++, PythonExperience with computer vision (openCV)Experience developing Graphical user interfaces (GUIs)Experience developing backend services (web servers, RESTful servers, etc)Ability to use Microsoft Office productsAbility to design analog and digital circuitsAltium DesignerBachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Computer Science3-5 years relevant experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to obtain/maintain a final Secret DoD clearance, for which the US Government requires US CitizenshipAuthorization to work for employers in the U.S. without sponsorship.
