Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (internally called Clinical Nurse Program Supervisor) Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 10AM-6:30PM Wage : $47-$55 per hour based on experience LOTS of growth opportunity in a stable & beautiful work environment. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Clinical Nurse Program Supervisor (CNPS) RN provides skilled nursing leadership and clinical oversight with the aim of improving the standard of care. Utilize, train, and promote evidence based practice to facilitate positive clinical outcomes and high resident satisfaction. The CNPS responsibilities include assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) in mentoring and onboarding registered nurses, new admission assessments and adherence to clinical programs and protocols. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Leadership: Serve as clinical resource to nursing department and provided education as needed for complex admissions. Provides leadership to specific standing clinical meetings as assigned (e.g. At Risk Participates in licensed nurse annual development reviews Provides input and recommendations to new and/or existing clinical policies, guidelines and protocols. Staff Supervision & Education: Assists DON in direct supervision of licensed nurses. Assists Director of Staff Development (DSD) with coordinating RN in-service training. Partners with DSD for planning of Clinical Skills Fair Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement: Monitors staff adherence to clinical protocols related to resident assessment and care planning Assists with clinical record audits and follow-up Responsible for specific QI clinical indicators and reports to the QI Committee May attend meetings to include but not limited to: Risk Meeting, Care Conferences, Other: Conducts routine rounds Assists with workflow management and problem resolution What you will bring: Must possess current CA license as registered nurse, BSN preferred. Must have minimum of three years supervisory experience. Position requires individual to be detail oriented, organized with strong clinical and critical thinking skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present data and recommendations to interdisciplinary committee. Demonstrated competence with use of electronic medical record, PCC preferred.
