You will oversee daily operations and assist sales and Recon managers in setting big but realistic goals. Responsibilities Directed all dealership operations, including vehicle sales, finance and insurance (F&I), service, parts, and customer relations. Led, coached, and developed sales, service, and administrative teams to achieve performance targets and improve productivity. Recruit, hire, and train service managers, office managers, and sales/finance department managers to meet profit levels. Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sales and brand visibility for the car boutique. Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales. Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market. Reduced inventory aging by 30%, improving cash flow and vehicle turnover. Resolved escalated customer concerns and implemented processes to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed. Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is necessary. Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends. Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles.
