Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access control practices and clear communication. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance-related issues. Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and incident reports while supporting property management and building staff with security-related requests and access-related questions. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
