Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianVenture Tech Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of duties related to the upkeep, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, and building facilities. Our buildings are spread out between Miramar, FL and Ft Lauderdale.We are seeking an experienced and reliable maintenance/handy man/woman. All around basic maintenance knowledge with experience.Summary: Under limited supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance and some light janitorial duties from time to time.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Painting, caulking and drywall repairsPerforms routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountainsLight maintenance duties such as plumbing and/or equipment repair or replacementAssembles and moves furniture time to time, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, moves and sets up tables and chairsThe Maintenance Worker will appropriately clean and polish tile floors from time to timeClean windows interior/exterior from time to timePressure Washing exterior entry areasThe Maintenance Worker will remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, private entry glass and dividersPerforms other related duties as required and assignedMaintenance Technician Qualifications:High School diploma or GED1-year experienceGeneral building maintenance experienceMust have reliable transportation from Location Site to Location SitePhysical Requirements and Work Environment: Work involves moderate work.
