Patient Services Representative (Floating)

Direct Hire | $23/hour + Mileage Reimbursement

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Patient Services Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our clinics. This role is responsible for patient check-in, insurance verification, and creating a positive experience for patients, many of whom are managing chronic pain conditions.

Important: This position does not include scheduling responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Collect and update patient demographic information
• Review and verify insurance information and eligibility
• Ensure all required patient paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintain a positive, patient-centered experience from arrival through check-in
• Support front desk operations while delivering exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or dental office setting preferred
• Experience reading and understanding insurance cards and benefits
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, welcoming personality with the ability to work effectively with patients experiencing chronic pain
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical terminology knowledge or related healthcare education is a plus

Schedule

Clinic hours vary by location:

Minneapolis

• Opener: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Closer: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or until the last patient leaves

All Other Locations

• Typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or until the last patient leaves
• Or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or until the last patient leaves

Travel Requirements

This is a floating position requiring flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations. Candidates may be based out of either the Minneapolis or St. Paul clinic but must be available to support all locations as needed, including:

• Minneapolis
• St. Paul
• Burnsville
• Shakopee
• Buffalo
• Plymouth
• Woodbury
• Vadnais Heights
• Blaine/Coon Rapids
• Cambridge

Mileage Reimbursement

• Mileage beyond your normal commute is reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate.
• Current reimbursement rate: $0.76 per mile

Additional Location Differential

Provides an additional $5.00 per hour worked at clinics located outside the seven-county metro area:

• Cambridge
• Buffalo
• Northfield

○ High school diploma

○ $23/hour. Mileage beyond normal commute. Mileage is always going to be the IRS rate, which is currently $0.66/mile

○ Direct Placement

○ Submittal- highlights, phone interview, face to face interview

○ She provides as much feedback as possible.

TC Spine will pay all non-provider employees an extra $5.00 per hour worked at any location outside the seven county metro area. This is for hours worked only, not drive time. The locations that qualify are Cambridge, Buffalo, and Northfield.
